Every article that gets published on Zooey Dot Pub goes through our amazing editors, to help make sure that the message you’re trying to put out there comes across as clearly as possible. They’ll give you feedback, but at the end of the day your article is yours and we will never make any changes that we don’t run by you first (except maybe stuff like itty-bitty typo fixes during our final-final proofread, like, if we realized right as we were about to hit upload that the article says “thuoght” instead of “thought” somewhere, then we might just fix the spelling quickly rather than delaying the article to get permission for that lil fix, although if you did mean to misspell something for like an artistic reason then we can probably work with you on that and make it happen, basically the whole process is a constructive conversation where the goal is that the author and the editors are all on the same page and happy with the final product by the time we publish). We don’t have anything complicated as far as copyright goes, but in essence you own your article, and if you ever want to have it removed for whatever reason, you absolutely can.
